Here are 5 things to get you on a roll of health and comfort again. Time to shift those winter pounds and have some fun.

  1. Have a really good look at your diet. You may have slipped back into slack eating habits again. First up eliminate the sugar, coffee (Oh No!), tea and if you can dairy and wheat as well. You may even go through a little detox when you start this, just the lack of tea and coffee can do it.
  2. Consider taking some internal cleansers. The first one that comes to mind is the Oil Pulling method (From the WellnessWarriors Site )  using Organic Cold Pressed Virgin Sunflower or Sesame Oil, an excellent way to detox your mouth where many nasty little bacteria live and therefore the rest of the body follows suit. Also a tbspn of Olive oil mixed with lemon juice first thing in the morning (after the oil pulling) is a great digestive cleanser and toner. Olive oil is a natural antibacterial, can’t hurt to give yourself a small purge. Also check out taking liquid oxygen as well, it reenergises the cells of the body with O2. You could also look at taking 10ml of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, this is a wonderful cleanser, especially nice with Manuka Honey and warm water 2-3 times a day.
  3. Now that you’ve looked at your diet and had a bit of a detox. Time to change it. You can’t go past Organic and as much raw food as possible. We have made our lives so complicated with all the additives, packaging, cooking and preparation of food. It can be really simple and really healthy and the nice thing about it is that you don’t need to eat as much because the quality of the food is much better, so if we only eat when we are hungry losing weight and feeling your energy return will follow. Lots of salads, some fruit, try and stay away from meat – but it may not always be that easy, experiment with your food again and have some fun with it. Everything is so serious now, we all have deadlines, even a TV show can cause a deadline of getting dinner on, eaten and washed up before the show starts. Take control of your life again and remove those things that aren’t really necessary.
  4. Exercise…..whatever you can do, as long as its a little more than what you are already doing is fantastic.
  5. Find some time in your life for just YOU. It’s impossible to be there for everyone else when we are exhausted and have had no space to re evaluate and put our life in order.
